Symptoms of a stroke include sudden and severe headache, sudden numbness, paralysis or weakness in the face, arms, or legs, problems with walking or balance, sudden difficulty seeing in 1 or both eyes, confusion and trouble speaking or understanding simple statements. Numbness or weakness can occur on either side of the body. If you have any of these symptoms, seek diagnosis and treatment IMMEDIATELY at the nearest health unit.
