Mild symptoms of restless leg syndrome(RLS) can be controlled through regular exercise, stretching, walking, losing weight if you are overweight, avoiding smoking and caffeine, or having a hot or cold bath or massage. If your doctor finds out that your RLS is caused by another condition (such as diabetes or anemia), treating that condition will usually end your symptoms. If they do not improve, seek treatment to control involuntary leg movements and help you sleep.
