The symptoms of corneal ulcers include a painful, red eye. You may experience tearing, a thick discharge from the eye, blurred vision, feeling that something is in your eye and swollen eyes. You may also experience pain when looking at bright lights. If the ulcer is large, a grey or white spot may be seen on the cornea.
