Rashes, sores, spots or swelling near private parts can result from shaving trauma or be a sign of a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) or infestation. Rashes in private parts increase the risk of getting HIV-so stop sex and get tested at a clinic IMMEDIATELY. Untreated STIs can cause illness and infertility. Once you are diagnosed with an STI, it is important that you and your partner(s) are treated otherwise you may be at risk of re-infection. Use condoms EVERY time you have sex to reduce the risk of STIs and HIV/AIDS.
