Fever in adults can be a sign of malaria, tetanus, TB, hepatitis, pneumonia and many other diseases. Fever in babies can be a side effect of a vaccination. If your child was not immunised recently fever could be a sign of malaria, polio, tetanus, TB, hepatitis, pneumonia. There are MANY causes of fever-the only way to get correct diagnosis and treatment is to see a health worker. If your baby has fever for more than 4 hours get medical help IMMEDIATELY. Fever is especially dangerous for babies.
