Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease that usually attacks the lungs but can also affect other parts of the body like bones, skin, joints and brain. It's spread through the air. When a person with TB coughs/sneezes the germs enter the air. A person breathing in air that contains TB germs can get infected. TB spreads quickly when people live close together, are poorly nourished and have difficulty getting medical care. Go to a clinic if you think you have TB-TB can kill and early treatment is more effective.
