If you are breastfeeding or pregnant and the doctor diagnoses you with genital lice, tell him/her that you are expecting as you may need different treatment to protect your unborn child. Wash cream off breasts before feeding your baby and then reapply. All sex partners must be treated to stop reinfection. Wash all bed linen/towels in hot water or leave in a bag for 3days to kill lice. Symptoms of lice are similar to signs of other infections so always get proper diagnosis from a doctor.
