Common symptoms of sleep apnea include waking up with a dry throat, loud snoring, waking up with a choking or gasping sensation, sleepiness or lack of energy during the day, morning headaches, restless sleep, forgetfulness, mood changes, insomnia and a decreased interest in sex. Seek immediate diagnosis and treatment from the nearest health unit if you have any of these symptoms.
