If you experienced a miscarriage (also called 'unplanned abortion') and you are still bleeding or feel pale, cold or weak, or passing blood clots you need to see a trained(skilled) health worker at a district health centre AT ONCE. You need medical treatment to reduce the risk of serious illness or death. These complications can be caused by infection or if part of the foetus (baby) is left inside the womb. A skilled health worker can stop the bleeding and treat the infection.
