Abdominal pain, bleeding and cramps during pregnancy can be signs of miscarriage. Miscarriage is when pregnancy ends early. In later pregnancy signs can be blood clots and bad smell from the vagina and reduced fetal movements or the foetus may also come out of the body. If you get any of these signs get medical help IMMEDIATELY as you can die from over-bleeding/infection. Some light bleeding during pregnancy can be normal but only a health worker can tell if you have a problem. Health workers are trained to provide care to women and girls who experience miscarriage complications.
