Treatment of trich is usually very simple if caught early. Treatment can only be effective after proper diagnosis. The only way to know if you have trich is to get tested at a health centre. It is important to get all sex partners treated otherwise you will get reinfected. Having trich increases your risk of catching other infections including HIV. So it's important to abstain until you have completed treatment to protect you and your partner.
