In migraine, a throbbing headache begins suddenly without warning. The area of the headache varies, it may be on one or both sides of the head or may shift from side to side accompanied by nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and noise. Children with migraines mostly experience common migraines and do not have any warning. Some children may also experience abdominal pain which gets better after vomiting.
