If you have chickenpox, try to avoid public areas and contact with people who haven't had it, especially newborn babies, pregnant women and people with a weakened immune system. You should not travel by plane until your last blister has burst and crusted over. To prevent chickenpox spreading, children should be kept off school until all of the spots have crusted over. There is a vaccine for chickenpox-ask your doctor if this is available.
