Malaria is treated with a combination of two medicines depending on the guidelines in your country. Most of them are derived from Artemesin. Preferably do not buy medicines over the counter for Malaria but treat after a positive blood slide for Malaria at your nearest health facility. If this is not possible to do, then under clinical suspicion by a health care worker treatment may be started. Severe Malaria must be treated in hospital.
