Symptoms of myocarditis vary depending on the severity of the inflammation; it can be mild or have no noticable symptoms. If the inflammation is severe, the muscle becomes weak and symptoms of heart failure will show. Symptoms of heart failure include shortness of breath, fatigue and irregular heart rhythm.
