Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) is a disease of the lungs that limits airflow and is not fully reversible. The airflow limitation is progressive and is associated with an abnormal inflammatory response of the lungs to particles or noxious gases. It is one of the most common lung diseases.
