Diabetes in pregnancy - Diagnosis
During pregnancy, many women may not have the typical symptoms of diabetes. It is therefore recommended that depending on the guidelines followed by your health provider you undergo screening and identification of whether you may have diabetes. Some guidelines recommend that all pregnant women get screened while others prefer to screen only women with risk factors. Your health care provider should provide the details regarding the screening procedure.
