Ebola is a killer disease caused by a virus. It spreads quickly and kills in a short time. Ebola spreads through direct contact with wounds and fluids like blood, saliva, vomit, faeces or urine of an infected person and from using unsterilized needles and skin piercing instruments, directly touching someone who has died of Ebola or eating dead animals, especially monkeys. Ebola is a serious disease BUT can be prevented. Anyone with Ebola should be taken to the nearest hospital IMMEDIATELY for proper care and management.
