Type one diabetes is where the pancreas produces little or no insulin. It develops mostly in children and young adults. Symptoms include: fatigue, increased thirst and urination, constant hunger, weight loss, blurred vision, having sores that heal slowly, having dry itchy skin and losing feeling or having tingling in your feet. A person with type one diabetes must take insulin daily to live. Having a parent with diabetes type one puts you at increased risk of developing the disease.
