Pep in full is Post-Exposure Prophylaxis. It is antiretroviral treatment for a person who might have been recently exposed to HIV-it can reduce the chance of that person getting infected. PEP can be given to someone who has been raped or somehow come into contact with the blood of someone who has HIV. PEP must be started within 72 hours after exposure to HIV so get medical advice IMMEDIATELY if you think you have been exposed to HIV.
