Pain during/after sex can be emotional e. g lack of foreplay-avoid it by preparing each other for sex. It can also be medical, e. g a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), Urinary Tract Infection(UTI) or a sign of disease of the pelvis, e. g bladder, womb, ovaries and other tissues. These infections can cause serious illness/infertility if not treated. ALL sex partners must be treated or you will get infected again. Use condoms to prevent STIs and HIV.
