There are many causes of itchy breasts. Tight bras, synthetic materials and some detergents can irritate the skin and nipples. Some women experience itchy breasts in their periods due to hormonal change. Some skin diseases also cause itching of breasts and itchy skin on the breast can even be a sign of breast cancer. If the itching persist for more than a week, visit the nearest health unit for examination and treatment.
