Breast cancer is abnormal growth of breast cells. It is common in women but men can get it too. It can be caused by ageing, smoking or genes (biological characteristics inherited from parents). Check your breasts each month for changes like lumps, size change, nipple discharge or changing position / shape, rashes, swelling under armpits or around collarbone, continuous pain in one part of the breast or armpit. Some breast changes during pregnancy / menstruation are normal. If you feel changes when not menstruating / pregnant see a doctor immediately. You know your body best - be breast aware! Cancer kills - early treatment can save your life!
