Scrotum/scrotal sac is a pouch of loose skin behind the penis that holds the 2 testicles (testicles/balls), each in a separate section. The sac protects the testicles and controls the temperature necessary for sperm production and survival. Sometimes one side hangs lower than the other-this is normal and different in different men.
