Breastfeeding is the feeding of a child with breast milk direct from human breasts. Breastfeeding is an excellent way of giving a baby lots of nutrients and developing its immune system. It also prevents the baby from getting diarrhoea from dirty water/food. Breastfeeding can be dangerous for a baby if the mother is taking certain medication, has TB, HIV or some other illnesses.
