The final host in which the tapeworm develops to maturity producing eggs is man. You pass out these eggs in your faeces. Eggs can therefore be found in fecally-contaminated water or food and infect others. It can also be found on your hands if you remain untreated and your personal hygiene is poor leading to reinfection of yourself(autoinfection).As a result of the transmission of eggs into the stomach, cysticercosis can easily occur.
