Symptoms of cysticercosis can be non-specific, eg headaches, nausea and feeling of ill health. Major cysticercosis symptoms mostly depend on the location of the cysticercosis in the body, mainly in the brain(neurocyticercosis), muscle(muscle cysticercosis), under the skin (subcutaneous) and eye(ophthalmic cysticercosis).
