Complications of tuberculosis infection in the lungs include a progressive feeling of shortness of breath. This can be due to perforation of the lung causing leakage of air from the lungs into the chest cavity(pneumothorax) or accumulation of fluid in the space between the lungs and the chest wall(pleural effusion). Both these conditions have fatal outcomes if not managed early. Always seek treatment if you develop this.
