The most common symptom of kidney cancer is blood in your urine(haematuria). This may come and go. Sometimes blood clots may form and cause spasms in your ureters(the tubes that take urine from your kidneys to your bladder) or bladder, which causes pain. Other symptoms include pain in your side, swelling in your lower back, anaemia, weight-loss, fever(high temperature) or a feeling of tiredness. Kidney cancer may also cause high blood pressure. These symptoms aren't always caused by kidney cancer but if you have them, contact your doctor.
