During a seizure it's important to protect the person from injury by laying the person on the ground to prevent a fall, clearing the area of furniture or sharp objects, lifting the head slightly, loosening tight cloths around the neck, turning them to their left side, bending the right limb slightly forward to prevent the vomit from being inhaled to the lungs. Monitor the person's pulse and rate of breathing and seek medical help and for a child, rush to a health unit while lowering the fever using a sponge.
