Warning signs or suicidal thoughts aren't always obvious and vary from person to person. Some make their intentions clear, while others keep them as a secret. Warning signs include:talking about committing suicide, withdrawal from social contact, wanting to be alone, mood swings, being preoccupied with violence and themes related to death, feeling hopeless about a situation, increased use of alcohol, changing normal routine, giving away belongings, saying goodbye to people as if they won't be seen again.
