Symptoms of palpitations include feelings that the heart is; skipping a beat, fluttering or beating too hard or too fast. The feelings may be felt in the chest, throat or neck. It can occur during activity or even when sitting still or lying down. Rush to the nearest health unit for diagnosis and treatment if one has palpitations and also; feel dizzy or confused, faint, have trouble breathing, have pain, pressure or tightness in the chest, jaw or arm, feel short of breath and have unusual sweating.
