Prevention of entropion focuses on the causes of the disease. This includes prevention or prompt management of patients who have sustained chemical burns to the eye, early treatment of eye infection(esp those involving the lining of the eyelids) and proper treatment and follow up in patients who have sustained injuries to the eyes.
