Medicines can reduce the discomfort of chronic sinusitis. You will be given medicines to decongest your nose, to reduce the irritation in your nasal passages and painkillers. Some of the medicines may be given as nose drops, spray or to swallow. You may need to rinse your nose several times with saline.
