Mild pulmonary hypertension may not produce any symptoms. The most common symptom of pulmonary hypertension is shortness of breath which is made worse by exertion. Other symptoms are cough, fatigue, dizziness. Worsening of the condition may produce signs of right-sided heart failure(cor pulmonale).These include leg swelling, chest pain and worsening shortness of breath.
