If you have HIV-related Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, it can be more advanced and so difficult to treat especially if the brain or spinal cord are affected. Treating AIDS patients who have lymphoma is of concern because even standard-dose chemotherapy can further compromise their immune functions and may result in complications.
