Complementary feeding - Vitamins

Vegetables and fruit have vitamins, minerals and fibre. They boost your baby's immune system and help form soft stool. Try one vegetable or fruit at a time. Wait three to four days before trying a new one. Offer each vegetable or fruit separately. Do not mix them. Let your baby learn the taste of each. Start with a little amount and increase according to your baby's appetite. Use seasonal fruit and vegetables from the local market to ensure freshness.
