Divorce is when a husband and wife legally end their marriage. If the marriage was legal then divorce requires a legal process. People can legally remarry once they have divorced. Breaking up is a sad time for all involved and support from friends and family is important. Divorce can be especially troubling for children. It can help if arguments between parents are avoided or carried out when children are not present.
