Influenza A (H1N1) commonly known as swine flu is a contagious respiratory disease caused by influenza viruses. The virus cause mild disease and it spreads from person to person by coughing or sneezing and unclean hands. Prevent H1N1 flu by frequent hand washing with soap to protect you from germs. Cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief when coughing or sneezing. Avoid crowded places and avoid close contact with people who are sick. Be Alert, protect yourself and report to the nearest health centre if you suspect you have swine flu.
