Sex during pregnancy is safe as long as the baby is growing normally and there is no pain or bleeding in the woman. In the early months of pregnancy, all sexual positions are fine. As pregnancy progresses, sex side by side or rear-entry sexual positions become more comfortable, as they keep weight off the abdomen. Stop sex and seek medical care IMMEDIATELY if you feel pain or have bleeding during sex. Always use condoms to protect yourself and the baby from STIs.
