Urinating often can be caused by things like drinking lots, diabetes, infections of the bladder and urine tract (where urine flows through), Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) or enlarged prostates/prostate cancer in men. Because frequent urination is a symptom of so many different illnesses, you need to go to a health facility straight away for tests to find out the exact cause. This will enable you to get the correct treatment quickly and reduce the risk of long-term damage.
