Hepatitis B is passed between people by blood and body fluids. It is 100 times more infectious than HIV. To protect yourself, abstain or use condoms, do not share sharp objects like needles and razors with others especially if they are infected. Get tested for Hep B if you think you are at risk. Ask your doctor about the vaccine which protects against Hep B. Health workers-wear gloves for protection.
