AIDS in full is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. It is a disease which has no cure and reduces the body's natural defence against illness. It is caused by a virus called HIV. It is usually passed between people by having unprotected sex. To protect from HIV, abstain or use condoms EVERY TIME you have sex. Its important to have HIV tests because if you have it, treatment can help keep you healthy.
