Liver failure can be difficult to diagnose because initial symptoms are often the same as other conditions. Early symptoms of liver failure include nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue and diarrhoea. As liver failure progresses, symptoms become more serious and include jaundice(yellowing of eyes), bleeding easily, swollen abdomen, confusion, sleepiness and even coma. Liver failure is a life-threatening condition that demands urgent medical care. If you present these symptoms, go to a health unit IMMEDIATELY.
