Love is many strong feelings to do with closeness and affection for someone. It can be between anyone-friends, family, partners. Love between partners is considered an intimate (close) romantic attachment, rather than sexual bond (that's lust). So loving a partner does NOT mean you have to have sex with them. Loving someone means you care deeply about them, their health and well being.
