Warts can start as small growths on the vagina and penis. They are caused by Human Pappiloma Virus or HPV. If not treated, they can grow bigger and look like a cauliflower. It takes a month to a year from infection to symptoms. Treatment is with a special cream or acid painted on warts weekly. If warts are larger than 1cm you may need an operation to remove them. If the wart gets smelly from bacteria, treat with antiseptic washes and antibiotic tablets.
