The symptoms of snake bites depend on the type of snake that has bitten the person. Snake bite symptoms can include bleeding, swelling and bruising of the skin around the bite. If the snake was poisonous and injects venom or poison into your body, symptoms can include blurred vision, convulsions, dizziness, excessive sweating, fainting, fever, numbness and tingling, rapid pulse and severe pain. Seek treatment from the nearest health unit IMMEDIATELY if you are bitten by a snake.
