Withdrawal/coitus interruptus and pull out method mean the same thing- when a man removes his penis from the vagina before ejaculation (climax). People do it to try to avoid pregnancy by keeping sperm out of the vagina. It is NOT a reliable way to prevent pregnancy-some men cannot control ejaculation so they don't know when to pull the penis out. Sperm can also come out before ejaculation. This method does not protect from Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV. ALWAYS use condoms to reduce the risk of infection.
