Any pregnant woman should eat a healthy diet with lots of fruit and vegetables, attend all antenatal visits and try to give birth at a health center. She should also take vitamin supplements for iron and folic acid daily. This helps keep mother and baby healthy and ensure a safe delivery. It is especially important for girls under age 20 who are pregnant to do this as they are at higher risk of premature birth and complications during delivery.
