First sex/losing virginity is having penetrative sex for the first time. You can get pregnant from first sex. Sex is safer and more enjoyable when both people are relaxed and trust each other. If you are not sure about having sex wait until you feel ready-this may be after studies, when you are married or want a family. Talk to your partner about your feelings and don't be afraid to say no to sex-your body, your choice! Find out your HIV status together with your partner before having sex. Remember only condoms used correctly and consistently protect against pregnancy, HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
